The tensioning unit is suitable for the following guide rails:

Hörmann guide rails and their replacement parts
Guide rails are the heart of every garage door operator and must be particularly robust. High forces are exerted on the guide rail when opening and closing the garage door every day. It is therefore not uncommon for the rail to have to be replaced after a while. The guide rail tensioning unit plays an important role in this replacement. But the Hörmann product range goes much further. In the field of rail technology, there are many spare parts that are easy to replace. Thanks to this modular system, the entire operator does not always have to be replaced in the event of a defect. Instead, individual parts can be replaced if they no longer function properly after long-term use.

With the guide rails, a distinction is usually made between one-piece and two-piece rails. With two-piece rails, it is important to know that they must first be screwed together for the final assembly and then tensioned with the tensioning unit. One-piece rails are equipped with a corresponding belt tension, which is automatically set after assembly. These rails are completely pre-assembled and can be used immediately after delivery.

It is important that the rail is adapted to the type of operator and meets its requirements. This means that not all rails can be used at random for the different Hörmann operators.
