Setting up a Tedsen SKX or SM handheld transmitter is very easy. You only have to set the coding of the new handheld transmitter to the coding of an already functioning handheld transmitter. Under the battery cover there is a strip with 9 dipswitches with which the coding of the handheld transmitter must be set.
Depending on the frequency of the Handheld transmitter, the dip switches have 2 or 3 positions:
- if the handheld transmitter has 9 dip switches with 3 positions - ON (top) - 0 (middle) - OFF (bottom), it is a 433 MHz and 868 MHz handheld transmitter of the SKX, SFX, SKX-MD, SFX-MD, SKX-LC, SKX-WD, SFX-WD and SKX-HD series.
- If the handheld transmitter has 9 dip switches with 2 positions - ON (top) - OFF (bottom), it is a 27 MHz handheld transmitter of the SM and SM-MD series.
