The blue colour of the buttons indicates that the Hormann Handheld transmitter has a frequency of 40 MHz and is not equipped with BiSecur technology.

Hörmann remote controls with green buttons, unlike remote controls with other button colours, can be delivered in different frequency ranges. This mainly led to country-specific differences, where a frequency was usually used more in a European country. The Hörmann HSM4 Remote control with , with 27.015 MHz was mainly used in France, while in Germany, for example, the frequency 26.975 MHz was more focused. In Belgium, Denmark, the UK and Austria, the frequency 26.995 MHz was more likely to be used.
