Handheld transmitter with the latest BiSecur technology
Hörmann's patented BiSecur technology is based on 128-bit encryption, similar to home banking. Thus, copying the handheld transmitter's radio signal is simply excluded and increases the security of your control. In addition, the range can be increased, which is still highly dependent on ambient conditions. The BiSecur handheld transmitter only functions with Hörmann garage door operators with integrated BiSecur receivers or with an external BiSecur receiver. After adapting the Handheld transmitter to a fixed 868 MHz code, you can also operate all devices equipped with a Hörmann 868 MHz receiver.
HomeLink compatibility
Many motor vehicles are already equipped with a so-called "auto" button for operating a garage door operator. The code of the Handheld transmitter is transferred to the corresponding HomeLink button of the vehicle. However, this only works with the fixed 868 MHz code and not with BiSecur encryption. To use this function, a BiSecur handheld transmitter must first be converted to the 868 MHz fixed code and a compatible 868 MHz receiver must be connected to the drive. Actual Hörmann door drives with BiSecur receivers are therefore not specifically controlled by HomeLink. If you want to control this with HomeLink, you must connect an additional 868 MHz receiver.
