Hand transmitter with the latest BiSecur technology
Hörmann's patented BiSecur technology is based on 128-bit encryption, comparable to home banking. Copying the radio signal from the handheld transmitter is therefore simply impossible and increases the safety of your control. In addition, the range can be increased, which is still highly dependent on the environmental conditions. The BiSecur hand transmitter only works with Hörmann garage door operators with integrated BiSecur receivers or with an external BiSecur receiver. After you have adjusted the handheld transmitter to a fixed code of 868 MHz, you can also operate all devices equipped with an 868 MHz receiver from Hörmann.

HomeLink compatibility

Many motor vehicles are already equipped with a so-called "auto" button for operating a garage door operator. The code from the handheld transmitter is transferred to the corresponding HomeLink button of the vehicle. However, this only works with the fixed code 868 MHz and not with the BiSecur encryption. To use this function, a BiSecur handheld transmitter must first be converted to the fixed code 868 MHz and a compatible 868 MHz receiver must be connected to the drive. Actual Hörmann door drives with BiSecur receivers are therefore not specifically monitored by HomeLink. If you want to operate this with HomeLink, you will need to connect an additional 868 MHz receiver.

Important note:
Hörmann handheld transmitters are not compatible with other handheld transmitters. Hörmann hand transmitter only works on Hörmann garage door operators!

Enter a fixed code in the transmitter
1. Open the housing of the handheld transmitter and remove the battery for 10 seconds
2. Press and hold the button on the circuit board
3. insert the battery
- the LED flashes blue slowly for 4 seconds
- the LED flashes blue quickly for 2 seconds
- the LED lights up blue for a long time
4. Press the circuit board button again
- the LED flashes red slowly for 4 seconds
- the LED flashes red quickly for 2 seconds
- the LED lights up red for a long time
5. Close the housing of the handheld transmitter, the fixed code 868 MHz is activated
