io-homecontrol® controls the entire house, i.e. not only Roller shutters, blinds and garage doors but also the front door, skylights, windows, heating, lighting and ventilation. The 2-way radio technology informs the user, is operationally reliable and becomes the new standard on the market.
Somfy io-homecontrol® tubular motors
These motors have all the advantages of existing RTS motors + the benefits offered by io-homecontrol. An extensive range of motors will be available in 2017. These motors can be controlled by any io-homecontrol® 1-way or 2-way control. We recommend programming a local control (1-way) per motor. On the 2-way remote controls or in the app, the consumer receives feedback on whether the requested command was executed or other information that makes it easy for him to understand the operation.
Frequency and safety
2-way io-homecontrol® products can communicate on 3 different frequencies between 868 and 870 MHz. If the frequency used is not free, it is automatically switched to another frequency. The 1-way products only communicate on the 868 MHz frequency. Power failure does not affect stored data.
Flexibility
The 1-way remote controls are designed to control one Motor. The 2-way controls are group or central controls where the consumer receives feedback via an LED, via pictograms, via text or via sound. Sun and wind sensors operate the products automatically. Automatic operation can be easily blocked using the Smoove 1 A/M io, a Situo 5 VAR A/M io or in the app.
