Despite all care, it can happen that the housing of the Hörmann Handheld transmitter HSE 2 gets damaged during daily use. Previously, you had to order a completely new transmitter nowadays you can order a new housing for the HSE 2 868-BS in 10 different colours from us. This gives you a nice option if you only want to change the look of your existing handheld transmitter.

Replacement of the housing on the HSE 2 868-BS --> When replacing the housing of the Handheld transmitter, open the transmitter as described in the battery replacement manual. After this, lift the circuit board slightly and take it out. Place the PCB in the new housing and click it into place, then replace the battery and put the back on.

Important note:
Hörmann handheld transmitters are not compatible with other handheld transmitters. Hörmann handheld transmitter only works on Hörmann garage door operators!
Setting the fixed code in the transmitter
1. open the Handheld transmitter housing and remove the battery for 10 seconds
2. press and hold the button on the PCB
3. insert the battery
- the LED blinks slowly blue for 4 seconds
- the LED flashes blue quickly for 2 seconds
- the LED lights up blue for a long time
4. keep pressing the button on the PCB
- the LED flashes red slowly for 4 seconds
- the LED flashes red quickly for 2 seconds
- the LED lights up red for a long time
5. close the handheld transmitter housing, the 868 MHz fixed code is activated
