Using energy from the sun to control your Roller shutter or blinds.
We offer various solutions for autonomous control of Roller shutters and blinds. There are locations where there is no mains power, sometimes it can be very difficult to lay a power supply to a window or door. We offer the components to ensure these Roller shutters or blinds can still be operated electrically in such situations. A complete set consists of a Roller shutter or awning motor, equipped with an internal or external battery pack, a solar panel, possibly a control box and a Handheld transmitter for control.

Energy from the sun instead of electrical energy.
The heart of the system is a 12 V DC drive, which we supply with torque up to 10 Nm and various speeds. The solar panel is installed on the outside of the building/system and the control unit or battery pack inside. The external battery pack or control unit and the drive are interconnected by a cable. If the set is equipped with a control unit it can be operated via the button on the control unit or via the supplied wireless handheld transmitter, if no control unit is included with the set it can only be operated a handheld transmitter.

Protection against weathering.
The most important aspects of the system are reliability and suitability for daily use. The solar panel is fixed to the outside of the building to ensure that it can be aligned for maximum sun exposure. The rechargeable battery pack is located integrated in the tubular motor or as a separate unit indoors possibly in the control box. This ensures that it is not exposed to the elements or extreme temperatures, which could affect its performance and lifetime.

Reliable - even on cloudy days.
The rechargeable battery pack can store enough energy to power a Roller shutter on cloudy days. If the solar panel faces north, power is only recharged for 1 cycle per day, where necessary an additional solar panel can be connected. A fully charged battery pack can incidentally open and close a Roller shutter more than a hundred times without sunlight. If necessary, the rechargeable battery pack can of course be recharged via a separate power supply.
