The SecuBlock XL is the heaviest and most stable version of the Secublock protections. This SecuBlock XL rigid connection particularly convinces with its robustness and easy installation. It ensures a firm closure of the roller shutter and prevents lifting of the roller shutter slats when the shutter is closed. The twist lock, which can be operated with a coin or screwdriver, makes installation of the upward lock extremely easy. The rigid connection can be used for octagonal Axle/Shafts with a diameter of 50 mm (SW50), 60 mm (SW60) and 70 mm (SW70). For every 60 cm shaft length or every 6 Nm of drive power, an upward interlock must be used. Slat weight must not exceed 12 kg per installed upward lock.

With simple and quick installation, simply slide the rigid connection onto the top profile and attach it to the Axle/Shaft with the twist lock. For electronic actuators, a correct end position setting is required to keep the upward lock in place.

Our SecuBlock XL rigid links fit all common roller shutter axles except SW 40 and are compatible with SW 50, SW 60 and SW 70 8-sided steel axles. Suitable for profiles from 8 mm to 14 mm, for larger Roller shutter profiles, 55 and 77 mm you can order an additional connection profile.

With its robust yet slim design, our security device makes it difficult to push the roller shutter up from the outside, while the increase in roller diameter is minimal thanks to the upward locking mechanism.
