The Cherubini Skipper LCD is a versatile 50-channel handheld transmitter used for home automation within the Cherubini radio system. The device, , provides secure access via a modern change code to prevent unauthorised copying. The user can manage up to 50 individual devices, and create 10 scenarios and 16 groups. It features a 1.8-inch colour LCD screen for a clear display, making it easy to use.
The Handheld transmitter enables detailed home automation, where each room, group, or scenario can be named and linked to the built-in timer. Users can easily set scenarios, such as 'Night' or 'Summer', to create a desired atmosphere. In addition, the timer can simulate presence in a house by automatically operating Roller shutters or awnings at set times.
The system also supports a sun sensor function in combination with the WindTec Lux weather station, allowing users to activate and deactivate the sun sensor function by group or scenario. The Handheld transmitter runs on standard AAA batteries for long life and wide transmission range. It comes with a wall holder, which provides a fixed location for the handheld transmitter and allows for easy removal if needed.
