Soliris Sensor io sun and wind controller for systems with a Somfy io receiver Read more.
The Somfy Soliris io Sensor is a combined sun and wind sensor equipped with the io-homecontrol radio protocol. By connecting this Sensor to your awning equipped with a Somfy io tube motor with integrated receiver, the system can automatically adapt to weather conditions. To prevent damage to the blinds, they will be pulled inside if there is too much wind, and if the sun intensity is adjustable, the blinds can be automatically moved outside to provide extra comfort inside the home. This sun function can be easily switched on and off using, for example, a Situo 1 A/M io Handheld transmitter, the wind function cannot be switched off.
- when there is too much sunlight, the screen is automatically lowered
- wind detection closes the sunshade at too high wind speeds
- sun function can be deactivated (e.g. in winter)
- includes a potential-free input contact for connecting an Ondeis rain sensor
- 230 V power supply
- simple programming on the io motor
- simple setting of sun and wind limits on the underside of the Sensor
- wireless signal transmission, therefore minimum wiring required
- programming of intermediate positions possible (e.g. automatic 1 metre downward movement of the sun)
- attractive design
- 1 sensor can be programmed on several io-motors
- with indicator LEDs showing sunlight and wind thresholds
- 2 s after exceeding the wind threshold a command is given
- the reaction after a signal from the rain sensor can be set via a Switch in the Soliris io sensor
- S = Security = the application is sent to its security position. Sun blinds are raised and the slats of a pergola are closed
- C = Comfort = the application is sent down for more consumer comfort. E.g. awnings on a restaurant terrace are lowered
- by default, this Switch is in the middle position and the rain function is disabled
NOTE: Not compatible with the Nina or TaHoma switch.
